ACDelco Professional Service Program (PSC)
The ACDelco PSC program is one of the largest and most respected programs across the country with an exclusive membership of high quality independent service centres. The key elements of the program are comprehensive training, ACDelco Rewards, seasonal marketing support and other great benefits. PSC is a comprehensive program to help the professional installer make their business stronger and more profitable. The PSC program offers comprehensive instructor led training and web based training, as well as “MyShop” sessions on selected topics that technicians are looking for to maintain the cutting edge of automotive services. Earn up to 5% of your ACDelco purchases in reward dollars to upgrade your shop or use towards purchases. There is a technical assistance hotline manned by real car guys to offer solutions for challenging diagnostic problems. Shops can offer a Roadside Assistance Program to customers who purchase ACDelco products. The PSC program also offers discounts on IdentiFIX diagnostics and information, customer retention programs, shop management solutions and competitive credit card rates.
ACDelco Automotive Care Experts (ACE)
Automotive Care Experts (ACE) is a “light version” of PSC that provides a comprehensive program at lower cost. Independent Service Centres have full access to all ACDelco Web Based Training courses and Instructor Led Training is available. Members earn a 2% rebate on all qualifying ACDelco purchases and have access to the ACDelco Roadside Assistance Program. Discounts are offered toward the Technical Assistance Centre (TAC). Members can participate in the Moneris program and opt-in for a marketing kit.
Manufacturer Technical Training Clinics
Thanks to the support of our Manufacturer-Partners, we offer the best training programs on the most relevant topics that challenge our businesses today. AP Exhaust, Robert Bosch and Blue Streak have given top notch technical seminars each year to our automotive service provider partners.
Manufacturer Technical Assistance Support
Many of our larger suppliers offer technical assistance support wherein the automotive service supplier can speak directly with a qualified technician. The contact numbers can be accessed from our website where supplier links are listed.
Several of our premier vendors such as Blue Streak, Fram and SKF offer online training programs for the professional installer. Shop owners also receive periodic newsletters, technical bulletins, and other industry information helpful to their business.
Annual Trade Show
Each year APC presents a trade show with all our major suppliers represented. Special emphasis at the show is on tools, equipment and shop supplies. On hand at the show are many suppliers demonstrating the latest in shop equipment. Product seminars and supplier product displays show the shop owner the newest in product availability. Special show promotions give the shop owner the best possible pricing on equipment and parts to increase productivity and improve shop profitability.
Virtual Classroom Training (VCT)
Our vendor partner ACDelco offers VCT as part of their e-learning programs. Participants engage directly with the instructor, other participants and subject matter experts over the internet. New repair and diagnostic techniques can be quickly launched with direct instructor interaction.
Web Based Training
Web based training is available to both PSC and ACE members. The courses are specific, job focused and practical for the technician, service writer and shop owner. Students can log in at any time from any Internet device including smart phones and tablets. Students have access to over 400 courses that they can start, stop, pause, resume and complete at their own pace.
ACDelco offers comprehensive Instructor Led Training on a variety of relevant topics in a classroom setting. Instruction includes lectures, on-vehicle demonstrations or mock-up board simulations with real world concerns and hands-on activities. Class sizes are kept small to promote interaction between students and instructors. Relevant courses are introduced in the spring and fall based on technician input. This specialized training allows technicians improve their diagnostic skills and repair techniques for better shop efficiency.
“MyShop” Training is sponsored by APC and available to qualified PSC members. An ACDelco Technical trainer will come to your shop and guide technicians through an intensive 1 hour session on a current topic. In addition to presented case studies, technicians are encouraged to discuss specific cases they have experienced.
IdentiFIX (Direct Hit)
IdentiFIX is an award winning, online diagnostics and OEM information tool. It combines common diagnostic solutions from the exclusive IdentiFIX database with confirmed field fixes, genuine OEM and aftermarket information sources with the knowledge of ASE certified Master Technicians to form a user friendly site. IdentiFIX makes it easy for technicians to access the information they need to service their customers’ vehicles with speed, accuracy and confidence. Diagnostic suggestions link directly to the associated repair information so technicians don’t have to visit another site or another system to complete a job. IdentiFIX also offers an industry leading Repair Hotline staffed by over 45 category experts.

For less than $1 a day this shop management system is designed to increase revenue, enhance customer relationships and increase your year round shop occupancy rate. The features of the software include simplified work orders, customized inspection and maintenance systems, profit monitoring, and a bar code reader for part information and VIN Data. Online Technical Assistance (CARS)

CARS offers a live hotline where customers can talk directly with licensed technicians/instructors to get the information needed quickly to help diagnose and repair vehicles. Users also have the ability to search an extensive database of real-world issues and solutions by experienced technicians every day.

Hoist Inspections and Installations
The APC Equipment Division has certified personnel on staff to provide annual hoist inspections required by government regulations. Staff are also qualified to install, relocate or repair most major hoist manufacturers. Hoist repairs are done in a timely manner as staff are available to react quickly and reduce down-time of the hoist.
