The second regional warehouse location, Canusa Distribution Centres Toronto Inc. (CDC) is situated in Mississauga, Ontario and supplies the very large metropolitan Toronto market. Established in August 2002, CDC contains over 40,000 square feet and carries an equivalent product offering as the Canusa warehouse. CDC operates a store out of the warehouse in Mississauga and a second larger store in Brampton to serve their local market. The CDC warehouse offers deliver to our customers in the GTA and eastern Ontario.

Canusa was established in March of 1981. Initially, the company operated as an undercar warehouse specializing in the sale of ‘Alternative Branded’ exhaust systems and related components that were sold to the specialty muffler installer. Canusa’s expertise in undercar product lines attracted customers from across Ontario and the Midwestern United States. Over theyears, the company’s business has evolved to a full line automotive warehouse distribution business with automotive parts coverage across all major product groups.
In 1998 Canusa became an ACDelco distributor and part of an elite group of warehouse distributors designated to sell this storied brand in major markets in Southwestern Ontario and the G.T.A. Since then ACDelco and their related programs have grown into the largest and most comprehensive lines for the company.
Since the introduction of ACDelco, Canusa has added a large number of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) suppliers to its product offering including NGK/NTK, Bosch, Delphi, Schrader, Prestolite, Total Lubricants, and Osram Sylvania. The company goal is to continue to grow OEM availability to the aftermarket.
Canusa/CDC continues to specialize in undercar product lines, particularly exhaust, but has also established a network of jobber part stores under the APC Auto Parts Centres banner in Southwestern and Central Ontario including the Niagara peninsula. The company currently has over 35 Corporate and Associate jobber store locations situated in key markets, selling to the local installer based customer.
Canusa/CDC operates one of the most sophisticated integrated distribution networks in Ontario. Most of our customers receive a delivery service twice a day. Our customers in Northern Ontario, as far as Sudbury, receive service once a day. Customers east of Toronto, as far as Kingston, receive an overnight service. Orders placed before 12:00 pm are received early afternoon. Orders placed prior to 6:00 pm are delivered overnight.
Canusa/CDC continuously makes significant investments in technology using an IBM I-Series mainframe computer to drive their warehouse and jobber store business. This powerful, state of the art system offers the company’s customers real time product availability and pricing through its e-commerce software. Customers can use the parts look-up electronic catalogue and have access to online order capability, throughout the day and on most evenings and weekends.
Canusa has recently introduced an integrated phone system allowing the company to set up a local call centre providing customers with immediate access to a professional counter sales representative regardless of their location.
Canusa continues to be a closely held family business that prides itself in service, product availability, competitive pricing and access to senior management.
