APC Invitational Golf Classic
The 2nd Annual APC Invitational Golf Classic was a great success. This year we more than doubled the number of golfers at London’s Forest City National Golf Club and all seemed to have a great time. We would like to thank our sponsors of the event: Kleen-Flo, Havoline, ACDelco, Bosch and Dorman OE Solutions for hole sponsorship, door crashers, and prizes for the closest to the pin and longest drive contests.
Forest City National Golf Club were gracious hosts and provided exceptional service throughout the day.
Congratulations to all who participated and thank you to all who helped plan and run the event.

Environmental Surcharge
The MHSW starts July 1, 2008. Under MHSW, an Envionmental Handling Charge (EHC) line will appear under affected products distributed from an APC Store. The EHC charges have been set by the government of Ontario and will include surcharges of $0.20/L on solvents, $0.073/L on antifreeze, and $0.05/L on oil. Other products may be affected such as paint & body, pressurized cans, aerosols and oil/fuel filters. Federal Mogul Installer Program
Federal Mogul is currently running a Brake and Front End Installer program. Any combination of MOOG Chassis, Wagner Edge and Thermoquiet brake pads/shoe sets or National Wheel Hub Assemblies can earn great rewards. This program has 3 different reward levels to maximize participation regardless of shop size. Contact your local sales representative for more information.
New Products
Federal Mogul announces new Champion “High-Thread” spark plug # 7989 to fit Ford 5.4L, 4.6L, and 6.8L 3 valve engines. The 7989 is a one-piece shell solving the common breakage problem experienced during removal of the 2-piece shell (OE style) plug.
Fel-Pro has introduced PermaDryPlus intake manifold gasket kits featuring steel carriers (rather than OE plastic), triple-bead seals. All the parts to do the complete job, including valve cover gaskets.
