Canusa Motorsports has had a very good start to the 2008 Racing Season. Jamie Ramsay and the motorsports team has finished in the top 10 each week, racing at both Flamboro in Hamilton and his home track Delaware Speedway.
The season looks to be a promising one. Follow all action live each week or visit click here for a link to the results page.
The season will come to a close on August 31, 2008 in Delaware for the “Great Canadian Race Weekend” and the APC 300. CANUSA Motorsports will again welcome suppliers, customers and staff with private bleacher seating and complimentary food in our VIP tent at Delaware’s “Turn One” for this event. Check out future CANUSA and APC flyers to learn how to earn your ticket.

Motion APC in Listowel becomes the first APC Associate to complete a changeover to our proprietary CAPP computer system. Motion joins Houser Automotive in Dunnville and our 13 corporate stores on the system which offers their customers online ordering options with Customer Connect and access to a fully integrated accounting system between receivables, payables and their general ledger.

Environmental Surcharge
Stewardship Ontario recently introduced a new Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste (MHSW) Program which commences on July 1, 2008. Under the MHSW program, affected companies – called industry stewards - will be required to report the quantities of the designated materials they introduce into the Ontario marketplace and to pay fees to Stewardship Ontario (read the rules here). Oil filters 8 inches (length) or less will be subject to a fee of $0.499 each while filters longer than 8 inches will have a surcharge of $0.998 each. These fees will appear as a separate line item on your invoices for all ACDelco, Honeywell and Beck/Arnley oil filters. Other product lines that may be affected by this legislation will be paint & body, oil & antifreeze, and A/C coolant. The fees collected are being used to improve recycle programs and manage the various materials collected in an environmentally responsible manner and disposed of properly.
